Get more enjoyment out of your pool season

Electric Heat Pump

Heat your swimming pool the efficient way with an energy saving heat pump! As opposed to traditional gas-fired pool heaters, heat pumps put no carbon byproducts into our atmosphere. With energy costs of about half what natural gas would cost and a third of what a propane heater would run, these heaters heat your pool and put money back into your pocket. Whether you have a 3,500 gallon aboveground pool or a 35,000 gallon in-ground, Eastgate Pools & Spas will have the right heat pump for you.

How confident are we about our heat pumps? Confident enough to honor a no-chemical exclusion clause with every heat pump we sell. Now that’s strong! Try getting that on a gas-fired heater.

Solar Covers – Free Heat!!!

That’s what solar covers are all about. Simply unfurl the blanket on the water with the bubble side down. The insulated air layer traps heat generated by the sun and holds it in the pool. All you need is a sunny day and presto heated water. Add as much as 3-5 degrees in a single day. It is a fact that pool owners can add as much as a month on each end of the swim season, just by using a solar blanket. Leave the blanket on at night and trap the heated water in the pool. When you have reached the desired temperature, simply remove the cover, fold it up, and store it out of the sun.

A couple of recommendations:

  • When shocking the pool, remove the cover for 24 hours
  • Bubble side goes DOWN.
  • Never leave it lying on your yard.
  • Store it out of the sun.
  • Never swim with the cover on or partially on the pool.
