Yes…we are hiring!

The Eastgate Pools& Spas business outlook for 2022 is strong. We have truckloads of new outdoor and sunroom furniture arriving and our warehouse is filling up. We have received several other truckloads of quality hot tubs and more will soon be here. Above-ground pools are selling and now all we need is some good weather to get started installing them. In-ground pools? Available slots for 2022 are quickly filling. And Big Green Egg ceramic smoker grills are always in-season and hot sellers. Pun intended.

All of the above, coupled with brisk sales, is requiring us to expand our work force. If you live in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area and are seeking gainful employment, whether full time or part time, we’re hiring. Who are we looking for? High school and college students, as well as retirees looking to supplement their income. School teachers wanting to work until school starts back and go-getters looking for a second job are encouraged to apply. And for those looking for a career in sales and service, Eastgate Pools & Spas might be just the ticket. Here are brief descriptions of available openings.

In-Store Seasonal Hires.

We are looking for several individuals for seasonal employment. This is the perfect job for college students on summer break or students still in high school. In Ohio, minors 14-17 years old must have a work permit from their school. Additionally, Ohio child labor laws limit when minors may work and the number of hours they are permitted to work. School personnel can guide the student through the easy process. Work responsibilities include many in-store jobs, such as stocking and light housekeeping chores. On occasion, they may be asked to help load or move product for customers. There would be no heavy lifting involved. We recognize that high school students have limited hours while school is in session. Outside activities and extracurricular activities are important in youth development. Thus, once hired, we will do our best to work with that student’s schedule.

Part-time and full-time store Sales Associates/Counter Helper.

Duties include assisting customers, running the register, performing in-store water tests, stocking, and general store upkeep. On occasion, the associate may be asked to assist with product delivery or help in our warehouse. This position does not entail selling major product lines such as hot tubs, pools, grills, or outdoor furniture.

Service Technicians.

Responsible for in-home service calls, technicians are under the direct supervision of the Crew Leader. No experience is necessary as we train quality hires. Other duties may include but are not limited to assisting with in-store activities, deliveries, or product assembly.

Warehouse assistant.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, loading and unloading trucks, assisting with customer pick-ups, in-store product assembly, customer deliveries, and general maintenance. On occasion, the warehouse assistant may be required to assist with service-related issues.
