Take durable, minimal maintenance, comfortable fabric and stretch it taut, then connect it to chair frames. Today, it’s almost everywhere. The secret to Telescope’s success though is that they have not cheapened their product. They still use top quality fabrics and the frames they use are not the thin economy ones found on many other product lines. The cheap fabrics on those often rip out within a few years or the frames themselves fail first. As for Telescope Casual, quality is best demonstrated via their Gardenella series. Aluminum frames have a thick powder-coating electrostatically applied for maximum durability. Slings are strong polyester and sealed with a coating that is almost totally impervious to chlorinated water. Furthermore, the material is resistant to harsh UV rays and holds its color well. And in the rare event that a sling does fail or if the owner simply wants to change to a new color, slings are replaceable.
